Trick or Treat on 23rd Street

Halloween 10/31 4-7 PM, 23rd Street from Barrett to Rheem

On Halloween, between 4 and 7 pm, we transform 23rd Street, a main street in Richmond, CA, into a family friendly corridor, with an event that’s more than just about candy. It’s community building at its finest. Families stop along 23rd Street and visit with participating merchants and participate in interactive activities which include Northern California Enamel Guild Art activity, Richmond HS Band, Instrument Petting Zoo, Arts & Crafts with various organizations and sponsors, and Dia de los Muertos altars dedicated to Richmond’s families, heroes, and causes. There’s a costume contest with souvenir pictures at NIAD Art Center. Richmond Police and the Fire Dept host games and hand out candy from their vehicles. And, much more!
